Purple Dead Nettle Salve

Purple Dead Nettle Salve is an all-purpose first aid salve. It is anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. It is excellent for dry, chapped, or irritated skin.

There is no typical salve dosage. Apply a salve as needed but remember that a little salve goes a long way. Applying the salve one to four times daily to affected areas is appropriate. Salves have a shelf-life of about one year stored in a cool location. They tend to melt into a liquid at high room temperatures which is why storing in a cool location is necessary.

At Wild Wisdom Botanicals we forage for Purple Dead Nettle growing wild on our organic homestead. Harvest time is crucial and Purple Dead Nettle is hand collected during the early spring when the leaf and flower are in their peak. This organic salve is handmade at Mossygoat Farm.
